Bailey’s takes its planks and ladders to new heights

Bailey has just introduced a new range of work stations,
planks and ladders ensuring industrial, trade or DIY enthusiasts
can enjoy an innovative new way of working at different heights.

Bailey’s Xtenda Plank aluminium work platform is a great option for jobs around the home and garden and can be used for a multitude of tasks including cleaning, painting or pruning. Boasting a solid aluminium base and ample room to move while working, the Xtenda Plank is particularly useful in allowing tools to be accessed easily. It also removes the need to continuously re-locate equipment, which is often the case when using a standard ladder.

Perfect for jobs that require two hands and bearing a working load limit of up to 260 kilograms, the work platform has an adjustable platform height of 650mm to 880mm. It can also easily extend lengthways, from 1.2 metres to 1.96 meters, which also makes the Xtenda Plank practical and adjustable for any task.

The self-latching independent leg adjustment means the platform’s legs may be set at varying levels to suit any uneven ground, offering the ability to get into those hard to reach places such as stairwells, while the platform remains firmly in place with a manual safety lock and anti-slip boots, providing peace of mind while working.

The Bailey Xtenda Plank work platform is designed for industrial, trade or DIY applications and is available at leading hardware stores. For further information and stockists visit www.baileyladders.com.au.

Combined step-ladder and job station

Another innovation delivered by Bailey recently is Bailey’s P170, which converts a step-ladder to a job station and is specifically designed as part of the next generation of Platform Step-ladders from Bailey.

The Bailey P170 is a mobile job station with a 170 kg load rating and large 610mm x 460mm platform standing area and is specifically designed to provide a comfortable and safe work area.

The new trapezoidal tread to stile joint is fixed at three points for maximum strength, while the fully reinforced platform has metal rod inserts and an anti-slip diamond plate deck design, offering peace of mind while working at high levels.

Easy to manoeuvre with a convenient carry handle, the Bailey P170 comes complete with a heavy duty strap and fastener, plus the ladder boasts 360o castors. Extra-large, anti-slip boots and a fully integrated brace and castor system also ensure the ladder is exceptionally stable.

A cleverly designed multi-function hand-rail is part of the new model, which can easily store tools and removes the need to climb up and down the ladder regularly.

The new P170 Job Station from Bailey Ladders is backed by Bailey’s reputation for quality and durability and is available in both aluminium and fibreglass designs from leading trade and hardware stores.

Bailey has also just introduced its clever new Triple Extension Ladder, built for strength and reliability and now with a reach height of up to 5.3 metres

Designed with a massive 135kg load rating, the heavy duty aluminium construction is designed in three sections, allowing it to extend from two meters to a height of 4.15 metres.

Easy to use and ultra-portable thanks to a carry handle, the two metre long closed position lets the Triple Extension Ladder fit into sheds, under stairs and even in most cars and has the ability to fold down to two metres long for easy storage.

Its swivel feet offer greater stability on uneven surfaces, while comfortable ‘D’ shaped rungs promise surer footing for peace of mind while working at height. The Bailey Triple Extension is made to Australian and New Zealand safety standards and is available at selected retailers.
