Over one thousand people, including media personality Hilary Barry and comedian Jeremy Corbett, are now isolating after a COVID positive case attended the Mitre 10 Awards ceremonies at Auckland’s Spark Arena, reported stuff.co.nz .
The Mitre 10 Award was attended by hundreds from across the country on August 12 with Auckland’s Spark Arena now a location of interest after after a bar worker tested positive for Covid-19.
Mr Corbett went onto host an event for Bayleys Real Estate at the same venue the following evening.
Hilary Barry said she is feeling like a “box of birds”, after being told she was a close contact of a COVID case, according to the report.
A Mitre 10 spokeswoman said all attendees had been notified and told what actions they needed to take moving forward.
