The largest remaining Australian-made and family-owned paint brand, Haymes Paint, has been named Canstar Blue’s best-rated paint brand for the fourth consecutive year.
Haymes Paint once again beat foreign-owned competitors Dulux, Wattyl, Taubmans and British Paints to take out the top spot.
Australians were asked to score paint brands on overall satisfaction, durability, ease of application, value for money, quality of finish and range with Haymes Paint the only paint brand to score the maximum five stars for ‘Overall Satisfaction’.
Haymes Paint Chief Executive Officer, Rod Walton said as a family-owned and Australian owned business, Haymes is incredibly proud to be recognised as Canstar Blue’s best rated paint brand in the country for the fourth consecutive year.
“This outstanding achievement is a reflection of the high standard set across the business, from research, development and production in our Ballarat factory, to the customer service and specialist advice our team provide at Haymes Paint Shops in communities throughout Australia,” Mr Walton said.
“We take great pride in remaining 100 per cent Australian made and owned and providing high quality products for our families, communities and independent retailers,” he said.
Canstar Blue Home and Lifestyle Editor, Megan Birot, said it was great to see a longstanding Aussie brand like Haymes Paint rated best for overall satisfaction for the fourth consecutive year and it was a real testament to the quality of its products and the value it brings to consumers.
“House paint is a competitive category normally and it’s especially the case now as Aussies spend more time sprucing up their homes. So, the fact that Haymes Paint outperformed six other brands on most drivers of satisfaction is an outstanding achievement,” she said.
This year, Haymes Paint also received the Finder ‘Best Interior Paint Brand’ award for the highest quality of finish, durability, ease of application and value for money.
