Intelligent positioning solutions provider, Position Partners, recently announced the acquisition of Imex, an Australian-based company that specialises in laser levels and measurement tools for the building trades.
Position Partners Chief Executive Officer, Martin Nix said the addition of Imex to Position Partners’ solution portfolio will provide its customers with a laser level, or complementary measurement tool to suit every task and budget.
“And, with outlets throughout Australia, as well as New Zealand, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines, these essential construction tools are locally supported and readily available in convenient locations,” Mr Nix said.
“Laser levelling instruments have been a core part of our business since inception,” he said.
Position Partners offers repairs, calibrations and training for all products, with a team of manufacturer-trained technicians that have extensive experience and expertise.
The Imex product range includes rotating lasers, line and dot lasers, pipe lasers, auto levels, theodolites and accessories. Used in all building trades including carpenters, electricians, concreters, plumbers, general builders and more, Imex tools offer reliable accuracy and value for money.
Imex Founder and Director of Calvin Sandeman said, “Joining with Position Partners and sharing our industry knowledge and resources will benefit customers and the industry. That said, it is still ‘business as usual’ for our customers.”
Imex will continue to operate as the same team from its premises in Molong, New South Wales. The company’s website and contact details also remain unchanged by the acquisition.
