Documents submitted to Eurobodalla Shire Council stated, “that the western part of the building will contain the hardware store component while the eastern part of the building will provide storage for timber products.”

A separate two-storey building is also planned to be constructed towards the Gregory Street frontage, the report said.

The Council documents also started that, “the upper level will be occupied by a ‘specialised retail premises’ namely ‘Petstock’ who are retailers of bulk pet and rural supplies, while the lower level will be used for warehousing purposes.”

“This building has been designed to take advantage of the fall across the site with separate vehicle access to the upper floor level from the eastern frontage of the building and lower western frontage for the low floor level.”

At a cost of around $7 million, the project is currently on exhibition at the Eurobodalla Shire Council website.
