Bunnings Zoom2uZoom2u will soon deliver Bunnings’ products to DIY customers after Zoom2u and Wesfarmers came to an agreement that will expose Zoom2u to Bunnings’ dynamic home delivery business.

Zoom2u rose 9.7 per cent in trade after the formal agreement was announced this week, with the announcement following an extensive trial of Zoom2u’s software throughout the Bunnings network in recent months, a Market Index report has found.

Despite Zoom2u noting that it cannot yet place a value on the agreement because materiality is unavailable at this time, the company is looking forward to offering delivery services with real-time tracking and ETA data displayed within a dedicated app utilised by the consumer, the report said.

For now, it will be the volume of deliveries ordered from Bunnings via Zoom2u that will be the deciding factor as to whether the partnership is a viable one. However, Zoom2u remains confident that consumer confidence will pick up, despite recent data showing a four per cent drop in consumer confidence this week, according to the report.
