Aussies Tap Into China
An Australian-only pavilion will be one of many new additions at this year’s China International Hardware Show (CIHS) 2009, the top trade fair in Asia for the hardware and DIY sectors. The event will be held in Shanghai from September 16 to 18.
Representing CIHS 2009 in Australia are Sydney based Fairlab Pty Ltd, the official Australian representatives of event organisers Koelnmesse. For this year’s show Fairlab are offering Australian producers and exporters the chance to show off Australia’s international reputation as a quality supplier by exhibiting at an Australian branded pavilion. Exhibition space is aimed at small to medium businesses who may not have considered exhibiting at previous CIHS events due to budgetary constraints.
“We have been allocated an outstanding location close to the main entrance for the Australian Hardware Pavilion,” says Fairlab Managing Director Philipp Lischke. “It will create a lot of attention. We strongly believe it is just the right time for the Australian hardware and tool industry to take action to tap into new markets,” he says.
An especially attractive option for first timers wishing to participate in the CIHS Australian Hardware Pavilion is what Fairlab call ‘worry-free’ exhibitor packages whereby full event management and logistical support are provided as part of the service.
