New Home Members

Four independent retailers have recently moved their business across to the Home Timber and Hardware group. “The past twelve months has seen a surge in both national and local brand activity for Home. Members of our group have enjoyed the business benefits of refreshed television commercials, community campaigns and exciting high profile sponsorships, including ‘Movember’, all of which are driving more customers into Home stores,” said Andrew Senyard, Home Timber and Hardware’s National Marketing Manager. “By staying true to our ‘proper’ positioning and the use of the much-loved mascots, Rusty and Sandy, customers know what we’re about and choose us over our competitors. That means more returns for our members.”

For independent hardware retailers, the national program works in conjunction with Home Timber and Hardware’s industry-leading local area marketing strategy, which drives customers into stores during the seasonal promotions. This spans across a celebrated catalogue program, advertising, promotions and the rapidly growing unique Home Team loyalty program.

John Ebzery, general manager of Richardson’s Home Timber and Hardware in Armidale and Walcha, New South Wales, said moving to the Home group in December had given the business access to dedicated support and tools to build brand awareness in its own market.

“Retail success is based on much more than products alone, and one of the main reasons we moved to Home Timber and Hardware was seeing the high level of support provided to us to help us build the store’s name in our local market. We have experienced this from day one,” Ebzery said.
