A recent Roy Morgan Retail Satisfaction Report made interesting reading, with Home Timber & Hardware topping the poll in the hardware category. The report, which measured satisfaction levels from respondents who bought something from a hardware store during a four-week period in March (the survey was released on July 15), placed Home Timber & Hardware in front with a 89.3% positive responses. Its nearest competitor was Bunnings with 86%, followed by Mitre 10 with 85.6%.

The customer satisfaction levels compare against 2009 results of 88.3% for Home Timber & Hardware versus 86.2% for Bunnings and 86.6% achieved by Mitre 10.
