Mitre 10 in Churchill
The Ritchies Supa IGA Mitre 10 opened recently to a weekend of celebrations at the site. These included a visit from Scott Cam, host of TV’s The Block and brand ambassador for Mitre 10. Among the festivities and attractions was a jumping castle, balloon artist, animal farm, and hourly prize giveaways. Organisers also put on a neighbourhood sausage sizzle with proceeds being directed to the Churchill Lions Club and the Boolarra branch of the Country Fire Association.
The new store is housed within the Ritchies Supa IGA in Churchill, at the Hazlewood Shopping Centre. National marketing general manager of Ritchie’s Stores Jarrod Swaine says locals were excited about the new hardware offerings. “The new hardware store means shoppers will be able to source everything they need in one shop – from groceries to nails,” he says. “We are offering a greater range and more competitive prices for both the public and trades people. They will also enjoy superior service from our expert team, who will help them find exactly what they need fast and at a great price, and if we don’t have the product in store, we will happily source it.” Mitre 10 business development manager Glen Percival adds, “By 10am, it was clear the advertising campaign had been a success with the store filling full of excited shoppers walking the IGA and Mitre 10 aisles.
