News Story: Biggest Thrifty-Link Announced
Plans for the largest Thrifty-Link store in Australia have been unveiled in the farming town of Colac, 150kms west of Melbourne.
The 6,000 sq m development, valued at $12m, is being carried out by the Riordan family on the site of their existing Thrifty-Link store, Riordan Hire & Hardware, at the eastern entrance of the town on Princes Hwy.
Last month, senior Danks executives teamed with the Riordan clan (parents Marg and Peter, and their children Richard, Anthony, Dan and Susan) to celebrate the public launch of the project and share a glass of wine with local customers and builders.
Look out for our coverage of the new store development in next month’s Retail Focus column.
