Coast Polysteel 600R LED rechargeable torch

Must-have tool for tradies

The Coast Polysteel 600R LED rechargeable torch is fast becoming a must-have tool for tradies. Tough tested in the most brutal conditions, the 600R is the first of Coast’s Polysteel range to include rechargeable batteries, making it perfect for the worksite.

Powered by either standard alkaline batteries or Coast’s custom rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack, the 600R can go wherever the user needs it to go. A handy USB power adaptor means users can charge the Polysteel 600R in the car while in between jobs.

When using the lithium-ion battery pack with high illumination, your customers can also expect a torch life of five hours and 45 minutes, or two hours and 15 minutes on the alkaline battery pack. Additional battery cartridges for both lithium-ion and alkaline batteries are also available.

Ultra view flood beam
Featuring Coast’s ‘Pure-Beam Optics System’, which combines its largest ultra-view flood beam with a bull’s eye spot beam, the Polysteel 600R can also handle close up and down-range illumination easily and effectively.

The ultra-view flood beam provides an impressive circle of light up to 3.5 metres in diameter at a 1.8-metre distance, while the bull’s eye spot beam illuminates up to 234 metres down-range, with a transition halo around the spot to increase the viewing area.

Ample consideration has also been dedicated to the design and construction of the Polysteel 600R. The torch is built with a heavy-duty, stainless steel core and covered with a grip-textured poly-nylon outer casing, allowing it to weather the toughest conditions.

Indestructible in all conditions
While the Polysteel 600R is waterproof and rated IPX8, it is proven to withstand water immersion at three metres for six hours, meaning the torch is virtually indestructible.

Awarded an ANSI FL1 rating, the Polysteel 600R is also drop proof. This means that, incredibly, it can withstand being dropped from heights of up to three metres. Its crush proof design also means that running over the torch with a 35-tonne earthmover will not affect its performance, according to Polysteel.

Twisting the head of the torch switches its mode between flood and spot beams, while a simple quick-cycle switch at the tail of the torch allows users to easily control the light power of the torch. The Polysteel 600R also provides a crisp and clean illumination making it an easy choice for tradies of all industries.

Backed by a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, the Coast Polysteel is sure to outlast the majority of tools in the toolbox.
