Gainsborough Neue and Choice (formerly Gainsborough G2 and G4)

Over the coming months, Gainsborough, part of the Allegion family of brands, will make some important rolling changes to its products and branding. 

These changes are aimed to reduce complexity, improve the design and functionality of the range, and improve the user’s experience with the Gainsborough brand. There are, however, no changes to product codes and barcodes during the transition.

Gainsborough G2 becomes Gainsborough Neue

Previously known as Gainsborough G2 Series, the Gainsborough Neue includes a choice of contemporary styles and finishes for every home, including the Gainsborough Urban, Traditional and Contemporary Trilock ranges, and the popular Angular and Aurora lever designs. This new range will roll out from June 2021.

Gainsborough G4 becomes Gainsborough Choice

Form, function and design combine in Gainsborough Choice, previously known as the Gainsborough G4 Series. Included in the range are deadbolts and a full internal lever offering including the newly released Lianna and Amelia in a matt black finish. This change will take place from July 2021.

Gainsborough Neue’s Angular and Aurora levers to be released in a full matt black finish

Based on recent feedback and design trends from customers, from June 2021 Gainsborough Neue’s Angular and Aurora levers will now come in a full matt black finish without chrome accents. The new all matt black finish will be available in the Gainsborough Neue branding with a new code to differentiate from the range with the chrome accent.
