Wagner Control Pro 150
Easy to use, big job sprayer
Wagner Australia’s new Control Pro 150 makes it easier for your customers to paint like a pro, due to its compact airless system with up to 55 per cent less overspray.
Designed with HEA (High Efficiency Airless) capabilities, even first-timers can produce beautifully painted surfaces just like a professional with the Control Pro 150. Boasting an innovative new spray tip design and a highly efficient pump, the ground-breaking technology enables the user to spray with significantly reduced pressure and maximum control – resulting in a softer spray pattern and up to 55 per cent less over-spray when compared to conventional airless technology.
There are many benefits to the new technology, especially when spraying indoors. Less overspray also results in more efficient usage of paint because less paint is wasted when spraying.
Due to the lower pressure of the Control Pro 150, of between 700 and 1500 psi, the paint exits the gun with less speed.
This allows users to gain more control over how they handle the gun, and make fewer mistakes when applying. Further advantages include lower recoil of the gun when pulling the trigger, and less force required on the trigger, ensuring the sprayer is perfect for beginners. The ergonomics of the spray gun have also been improved, with all of these features contributing to fatigue-proof application.
HEA (High Efficiency Airless) – how it works
Two important components of the sprayer are at the core of the new low-pressure technology. Just in front of the spray diffuser tip (Finish Tip) Wagner has mounted the Pre-Tip, to diffuse the paint in the same quantity and with the same speed as conventional airless devices. A softer spray jet, better copacity when layers are overlapping and less harsh edges are the result of this special tip technology. There is no need for additional finishing, because the surface quality is perfect.
The second component is the pump technology. Compared to conventional airless technology, pressure is significantly reduced. However, the amount of paint passing through the tip remains the same.
Suitable for numerous applications
The Control Pro 150 is the ideal tool for beginners, serious DIYers or semi-professionals, because the compact Control Pro range of airless sprayers are suitable for many different project sizes and applications, both interior and exterior.
Control Pro HEA Tips also come in various sizes to suit many applications. The sprayers can be used with all types of coatings, including water and oil-based paints, varnishes and stains. Due to the lower pressure of the sprayer, the tip is less strained and therefore lasts longer.
